• The Right Skills NOW - CNC Machining program at Vincennes University is designed for adult learners seeking a career transition.
• This program is not intended for recent high school graduates, but rather for individuals aged 21 or older, including military veterans and career industry workers looking to update their skills.
• The program is a rigorous 600-hour training program designed to equip students with the skills needed to become entry-level CNC Machinists.
• Upon completion, students can earn 6 to 8 National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials.
• The curriculum includes courses covering measurement, materials, safety, job planning, bench work, layout, and both CNC mill and lathe operation and programming.
